the present paper gives an overview of most of the legal work performed up to date in the framework of the feasibility study for a ***. the study is supported by the european commission and involves the active participation of 18 *** companies in the european union and in central eastern european countries (including romania). the paper provides some views on the methodology used in order to tackle the complex multipartite and business-related contractual negotiations and structure, between west and central-eastern european partners more specifically. this methodology could probably be duplicated also to other highly regulated industries located in the same geographical area and subject to appropriate technical adjustments. the paper finally identifies the main issues lawyers can expect in such a context and concludes by providing some practical tips for negotiation...
